#WATCH | Varanasi, UP | Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) for the Kashi Zone, Gaurav Banswal, says, "The Bharat Milap is considered a highly significant, historic event—a massive fair that draws hundreds of thousands of devotees. It is an integral part of the local 'Ramlila' celebrations. Given the massive turnout—with hundreds of thousands of people in attendance—a substantial security force was deployed, consisting of over 2,000 police personnel. The entire event was conducted in the presence of senior officers. Regarding the arrangements, the fairgrounds were cordoned off with barricades, with designated entry and exit points. Furthermore, traffic was diverted in the surrounding areas to ensure smooth movement and prevent any congestion or untoward incidents"
