Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh and Odisha on October 25 to inaugurate a garment manufacturing facility in Varanasi, witness the Indian Air Force Day Aerial Display-2026, and inaugurate the Reserve Bank of India’s Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute in Bhubaneswar.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister will inaugurate Arvind Limited’s new garment manufacturing facility in Varanasi at around 11 AM. At around 1 PM, he will witness the Air Force Day Aerial Display-2026 at Namo Ghat as the Chief Guest.

He will then travel to Bhubaneswar, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the RBI’s newly established Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute at around 4:45 PM and address the gathering.

Garment Manufacturing Facility in Varanasi

The new garment manufacturing facility is expected to strengthen India’s textile and apparel manufacturing ecosystem and promote industrial growth in the region.

The facility will adopt modern manufacturing practices and create employment opportunities, particularly for women. With a global customer base, it is expected to connect garments manufactured in Varanasi with international markets.

The initiative also highlights Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to attract industrial investment, expand manufacturing capacity and promote women-led development.

Indian Air Force Day Aerial Display at Namo Ghat

The Prime Minister will also witness the Air Force Day Aerial Display-2026 at Namo Ghat in Varanasi. The event will commemorate the 94th anniversary of the Indian Air Force under the theme “Wings over Ganges”.

The aerial display will feature aircraft including the Tejas, Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand, Su-30MKI and Rafale, along with transport aircraft. Aircraft from the Indian Navy and the Indian Army will also participate, highlighting jointness among the armed forces.

The Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and Sarang Helicopter Display Team will showcase precision flying, coordination and operational capabilities.

RBI Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute in Bhubaneswar

In Odisha, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the RBI’s new Data Centre and Cybersecurity Training Institute in Bhubaneswar, aimed at strengthening the technological infrastructure supporting India’s financial system.

The data centre infrastructure has been designed to provide secure, resilient, scalable and future-ready computing capabilities for the RBI and the wider financial sector.

According to the release, four state-of-the-art data centres will host mission-critical payment and settlement systems, along with other key initiatives. The facility has received the Uptime Institute’s Tier IV certification, a benchmark for data centre infrastructure resilience, placing it in the highest certification tier.

The infrastructure is expected to support the reliability and efficiency of digital financial services and strengthen the technological foundations of India’s increasingly digital financial ecosystem.

The Cybersecurity Training Institute will provide a dedicated platform for training, research and capacity building in cybersecurity and enterprise technology. Its focus areas will include emerging technologies such as quantum computing and artificial intelligence, along with other technologies relevant to the banking, financial services and insurance sector.
